Mardling Memorial Cup 2026
The second anniversary of the Trevor Mardling Memorial Cup Day took place on Saturday 1st August 2026. The weather was extremely kind to us and we enjoyed another fantastic turnout with 40 members taking part in the afternoon’s bowling.
Bowlers were split into 2 teams (Blue & Silver) and proceeded to play 5 rounds of 8 ends.
It proved initially to be an extremely close match, after 4 rounds only 9 points separated the teams, the final round however proved conclusive and the blue team ran out the eventual winners.
Following conclusion of the bowling ‘Trevor’s Cup’ was presented to Mike Binnion on behalf of the blue team, members then retired to the clubhouse and enjoyed an ‘afternoon tea’.
