Stone Crown Challenge 2026
Our annual crown challenge was held this year on Sunday 13th September. After some early morning rain, we enjoyed a mainly sunny afternoon and some extremely good bowling, in particular from our eventual winners (Stafford BC).
My thanks go to Jackie & Tye and Brenda & Colin for stepping up to represent stone Crown this year.
Additional thanks to everybody working behind the scenes helping to make it an extremely successful day. I would like to add my special thanks to Shirley for the way she handled all the administrative work between the clubs taking part and ensured all bases were covered on the day. It is a testament to Shirleys hard work that the day “ran like clockwork”, no further proof is needed than a comment received from a member of the Leek team “This is the best organised event they have ever attended and that they thoroughly enjoyed the day”.
Our 2026 winners were Stafford BC, followed by White Lion BC as runners up, Stone Crown BC finished an extremely respectable third place.
