New Compost Bins

As you may know, our Grounds Maintenance Team have recently finished a project to build new compost bins for the club. The old bins had finally reached the end of their life after many years service. The club has invested in plastic timber for this project and the new bins should be good for 25-30years use, so none of us should have to worry about their renewal!!)

The club President, Mike Binnion, was playing a competition match as the work was completed and had the honour of depositing the inaugural barrow of grass cutting's.

Our thanks go to David Earle, who designed the new bins and has led the project and to everyone who has helped with the removal of the old bins and the construction of the new bins. Thanks also go to the those who have freed the ‘build team’ by keeping on top of the Green cutting and all of the other jobs that keep the site looking so wonderful.
