Centenary

In 1925 members of Stone Crown BC and Leek BC played a friendly match against each other. The result is not recorded but 100 years later on July6 2025 the two clubs met at Leek to celebrate the centenary of this fixture.

Rather than the two clubs competing against each other Leek and Stone Crown bowlers were paired together and just enjoyed an afternoon of bowling with each other and nobody cared (too much) who won.

The afternoon was concluded with a buffet and a drink or two in the bar.
